I love this work. I was wondering if I get permission to use the face for a RP forum avatar. He's a perfect depiction of my character there. If not, that is alright.

:D Awesome. The texture is great, and I love the colors, they're very realistic and neutral, even though he's a puma he still seems lifelike. The tattoos add a nice touch, too :D Instant favorite!

Thanks! What you are seeing here is an image that I intend to run through one more iteration when I take it to Corel Painter and use it as a reference basis for a final painting.. When I'm done with that,..I will replace the image above with the new painted one,..which hopefully people will like even more!

Very good job. I love how it looks like watercolor.

To be very critical, the head seems like it may be placed a little high from that angle, as if hes sitting unnaturally straight.

Thanks!! This is one of the several pieces here done as placeholder art for the game I'm publishing. I intend, eventually, to use this as a basis for a more unified painting done in Corel Painter, which I'll eventually replace this version with.

Allow me to say, also, that I appreciate your critique,..and tend to agree that the head placement always seemed slightly "off" or stiff to me as well,..and is something that I intend to fix in the future edition...

Thanks again!

Cool! What type of game? It sounds like something I'd be interested in.

It is a completely new game genre being presented as a paper RPG, and is based on an intellectual property owned by a good friend, who created the initial concept in 1992. The game is called Dárdünah; World of the False Dawn... Dárdünah (pronounced DAHR-doo-nah) will hopefully be an exciting new world of heroic fantasy and adventure. Furthermore, it is a rather unique fantasy campaign setting. You won't find the standard fantasy fare in the pages of the rulebooks; there are no elves, trolls, dwarves, knights, or even dragons. Indeed, the campaign world is quite a deviation from most European fantasy settings. Dárdünah’s time period is not strictly medieval. The setting draws its flavor from eastern cultures (primarily India and ancient Persia) rather than western cultures. And, it is not set on an alternate version of Earth. In fact, there are no humans on Dárdünah. Players may choose from a wide variety of animal people who are to be the main cast of the many adventures the world offers. Skyships glide through shimmering skies past majestic crystal peaks. Giant insects prowl alien jungles or lurk in the sparkling emerald seas. Warriors, with blades of diamond and amber, duel across crimson sands. And mystics chant in shadowy chambers as their spirits wander abroad.

Currently, with input from play-testers, I’m making fruitful edits and rewrites to such important rules sections as Character Creation and Combat in an effort to streamline and encourage greater functionality, ease of use, and excitement,...but the core rules and the actual layout of the books is already pretty much complete! It's all about polishing it up and getting it ready to send off. I'm hoping to get it on the hobby game store and book-store shelves by the middle of this year...

Thanks for the interest!
